It's not the world, it's how you perceive the world.
If you don't like the world at the moment, the only way to change it is to change your perception of it.
The only way to change your perception is to re-train your brain to look at your reality in a different light.
Knowing I am eloping to Italy soon, A friend of mine recently sent me an article about how people should avoid Italy because of 'coronavirus' .. My response.. "Lucky for me I'm not controlled by fear-mongering... It will just mean it's not as busy which is perfect".
Think about how I could have responded differently depending on my perceptions.
How many people would be considering putting off their plans and listening to every morning, mid-morning, lunch, arvo, evening and late-night update?
Constantly reliving the panic and fear in their mind and creating survival reactions in their body.
If we end up having to postpone then that's what we will do. But there are zero benefits in continually rehashing the same story over and over.
What can we control? Do that.... What can we not control? Let it go
The next time you encounter a problem think of these words by Wayne Dyer... How could you see this situation as an opportunity?
